i thought this portable pen would be perfect to help me wean my foal by keeping her separatdd from the mare, but it is too flimsy.  have used other portable panels that were 1'steel that worked well even for full size horses or donkeys, but because these do not have any vertical bracing and have horizontal joints in the middle of each rail, they are just too flimsy and if an animal tried to climb out, the rails would easily be bent and the animal possibly injured.  contacted the company to ask about a refund, but they have totally ignored my requests.
